About the Lookout
The Lookout is a purpose built, cedar clad building which blends beautifully into the woodland landscape at Pettypool.
Numerous Eco-friendly design features have been incorporated into this modern, well-equipped building.
It is positioned at the top of the old Lookout campsite with outdoor decking over-hanging the lower part of Lookout site which can still be used for games and activities whilst staying in the main building.
The Lookout is an L-shaped building equipped for 40 people – 30 girls, up to 8 adults and specialist accessible bedroom for a member and carer.
- Activity room with tables and chairs
- Bunk rooms (5 rooms of 6 beds) sleeping a total of 30 people
- Leaders bedroom (2 rooms with 4 single beds), sleeping a total of 8 people
- 1 x accessible bedroom
- Entrance lobby with boot and coat storage
- Fully equipped kitchen including dishwashers
- Leaders lounge
- Entrance hall
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
- The building has underfloor heating
- Wi-Fi is available

The booking process
- Check the availability calendar
- Complete the enquiry form
- The booking secretary will respond to your enquiry to confirm your provisional booking
- You will then be asked to complete a booking form with full details of your stay
- The provisional booking will be held for 14 days until a non-refundable deposit (if applicable) has been received
