What you need to know
About The Lodge
We are pleased to be able to offer our ‘old residential building’ as a non-residential indoor/outdoor space.
The Lodge can now be used in so many different ways with your unit, it certainly is still a great place at Pettypool.
How about using it for:
- An indoor/outdoor space on activity days with your unit, district, division or county
- Just use the kitchen to ‘cook in’ alongside your camp
- Hold your unit meeting in Pettypool Lodge if your meeting place is not available
- Camp on Jubilee Green (alongside Pettypool Lodge) and live/cook in The Lodge itself – this would be for a small number of lightweight tents
- An indoor space for a training, Trefoil Guild or other meeting
What you’ll find in the Lodge
- 4 toilets and 4 wash basins
- Leaders bathroom with toilet and shower
- Fully equipped kitchen (range gas cooker, toaster and kettle, microwave, refrigerator, chest freezer, salamander grill, water boiler and utensils)
- Dining room with crockery – plates, bowls, glasses and mugs and cutlery for 30 people
- The activity room has low tables, chairs and a bookcase with a small selection of books and games
- The leaders lounge has lounge chairs and a coffee table
- A landline phone
- WiFi is available
- Storage heaters with supplementary heaters in some areas
- There is a grassed area alongside the lodge with 4 picnic tables and a BBQ area
Camping equipment hire
We do not provide equipment for hire.

The booking process
- Check the availability calendar
- Complete the enquiry form
- The booking secretary will respond to your enquiry to confirm your provisional booking
- You will then be asked to complete a booking form with full details of your stay
- The provisional booking will be held for 14 days until a non-refundable deposit (if applicable) has been received
